The Aquence XP 180-22 from Henkel is developed specifically for glass bottle labeling. It combines high wet tack with medium-to-fast setting and runs cleanly on fully automatic labeling machines – both rotary and straight-line feed types.
Typical applications include beer bottles, wine bottles and beverage bottles: paper labels adhere reliably to glass, and thanks to good ice water resistance after complete drying, labels stay on even in the ice bucket. Important for returnable and deposit bottles: the adhesive is soluble in caustic soda solution, so labels wash off cleanly in the bottle washing plant.
