Henkel Technomelt EM 357 is a transparent yellow hotmelt adhesive based on synthetic polymers, designed for bonding plastic labels – especially on PET bottles and other plastic containers. Supplied in a 14 kg pack.
Technomelt EM 357 is part of the Henkel Technomelt EM range, a high-performance adhesive programme for PET labelling. The rubber-based hotmelt is applied as a transparent, yellowish adhesive film by roller or nozzle and bonds plastic labels reliably to the bottle – even on difficult substrates.
The adhesive is suitable for hot filling and stands out for its very low migration tendency – an important factor for food and beverage packaging. The application temperature is approx. 130–150 °C, so EM 357 runs on common rotary and straight-line labelling machines. The easy handling of the 14 kg pack also helps to avoid unnecessary packaging waste.
